Note 1 - Aristides: like Aquinas, a Roman 'christian' who hated gnosis and Chaldæn philosophy. Aristides was against Abraham's Qabalic Chaldæan teachings. Consider Jesus was a Essene Gnostic (see Elaine Pagels' The Johannine Gospel in Gnostic Exegesis), and an expert in Qabala, its Autiot and Gematria. Sepher Yetsira, apparently didn't appear until seventh-eighth century of current era. To compare Jesus' Essene Gnosis and Abraham's (~1600 years prior Jesus' era) Chaldæan Gnosis, grasp that Qabala is common to both of those Gnoses with Qabala's Mosaic emphasis on a living God and God's living creation (i.e., Qabala, Moses' revelation ("life witnesses itself") in Exodus 3:14). Haters of gnosis worsehip dead things and a dead material reality. Material reality to gnostics is a pneumatic poverty when it is dead. Qabala means Aleph (living God) living, Yod (living humanity, a living and conscious cosmos). Philosophers listed in this page are predominately adherents of death and dead material things. Jesus' use of "Sabachthani" discloses his own sense of being killed by Romans. Sabachthani means "a dead network killed spirit (pneuma) in me." His query, "lama Sabachthani," means "why (lama) has my spirit been killed in me by this network of dead, material-worseshiping beings?"
If you observe what is happening in today's world, you see similar hegemons (AKA Keynesian 'elites,' self appointed bureaucrats in Brussels, central bankers and hegemonic nations like Germany and Merkel) trying to kill all of our spirits, all of our pneuma. Sad, sad, sad. Read Frederick Hayek! Consider title of Hyman P. Minsky's Keynesian opus, Stabilizing (killing) an Unstable (living) Economy. Doug - 28Jan2015.
